Are BOTH door sensors pre-paired to the controller out of the box?

Yes. Both RZ001 sensors included in the 2-Sensor Kit are factory pre-paired to the RZ050-DS controller on the same RF signal group. You do not need to perform manual RF pairing prior to mounting.

How do the two door sensors work together to control the AC?

The two sensors operate under a logical “OR” rule. How is the RZ050-DS controller powered in the 2-Sensor Kit?

This ensures a door opened in Room 101 will never trigger an AC shut-off in Room 102.

What happens if an open door or window is ignored for hours?

The RZ001 sensor transmits its initial shut-off signal upon expiration of its selected delay (e.g., 1 minute). To prevent the AC from being turned back on while the door remains wide open, the sensor repeats the RF shut-off transmission every 30 minutes as long as the magnetic contact remains separated.

How do I know when the batteries in the door sensors need replacing?
