What is High-Output (Ho) Lamp

A High-output (Ho) Lamp is a type of fluorescent lamp designed to provide brighter and whiter light compared to standard fluorescent lamps. These lamps are commonly used in T12 fixtures, which are older types of fixtures. High-output (Ho) lamps come in various sizes, ranging from four-foot F48T12 to eight-foot F96T12/HO double contact lamps, and are manufactured to maximize the performance of T12 fixtures.

High-Output (Ho) lamps are used for their energy efficiency, using up to 80 percent less energy than incandescent bulbs, making them a cost-effective lighting solution. Despite their energy efficiency, these lamps produce superior light quality, emitting a brighter, whiter, and steadier glow compared to older residential lamp designs.
