Qu'est-ce qu'Epact ?
Epact, abréviation de Energy Policy Act (EPAct), désigne une loi promulguée en 1992 dans le but de promouvoir l'efficacité énergétique dans l'industrie de l'éclairage. Cette loi établit des exigences minimales d'efficacité pour les lampes à incandescence et les lampes fluorescentes, ainsi que des exigences en matière d'étiquetage. Son principal objectif est de décourager l'utilisation de lampes inefficaces en interdisant leur fabrication ou leur importation aux États-Unis.
