Qué es la potencia de las velas
La candela mide la intensidad luminosa de una fuente de luz en una dirección determinada. Tiene su origen en la emisión de luz común y uniforme de cuando la vela era la principal fuente de luz. La potencia de la vela se refiere específicamente a la cantidad de luz que se emite en una dirección concreta, en particular la ubicación central más brillante de un haz enfocado.
En el pasado, la candela era la principal unidad de medida para describir la intensidad de una fuente luminosa en una dirección específica. Sin embargo, ha sido sustituida por la candela, que es la unidad de medida estándar actual para la intensidad luminosa. Una candela equivale a una candela.
