Qué es la tapa de bayoneta

Bayonet Cap, también conocido como BC, es un tipo de casquillo de lámpara. Debe su nombre a su diseño, que recuerda a un cierre de bayoneta. El tapón de bayoneta tiene un diámetro de 22 mm (B22d) y se caracteriza por un mecanismo de giro y bloqueo. Este mecanismo consta de dos pasadores en el bulbo que se retraen y luego se expanden en ranuras dentro del racor cuando se retuercen, lo que garantiza una conexión segura.

La gorra bayoneta se distingue de la Rosca Edison (ES), que utiliza una rosca de tornillo en lugar de pasadores. Es importante señalar que el casquillo de bayoneta es el casquillo más utilizado en el Reino Unido. Además, existen tamaños más pequeños, conocidos como casquillo de bayoneta pequeño (SBC), con un diámetro de 15 mm (B15d).
