O que é Candlepower
A potência de vela mede a intensidade luminosa de uma fonte de luz em uma direção específica. Ela se originou da saída comum e uniforme de luz de quando a vela era a principal fonte de luz. A potência de vela refere-se especificamente à quantidade de luz emitida em uma direção particular, particularmente o local central mais brilhante de um feixe focalizado.
No passado, a candela era a unidade principal de medida para descrever a intensidade de uma fonte de luz em uma direção específica. No entanto, ela foi substituída pela candela, que é a unidade padrão atual de medição de intensidade luminosa. Uma candela equivale a uma candela.
