O que é CIE
CIE, também conhecida como Comissão Internacional de Iluminação (CIE), é uma organização dedicada à cooperação mundial e à troca de informações no campo da luz e iluminação. Estabelecida em 1900 como a Comissão Internacional de Fotometria, foi reestruturada como a CIE em 1913 e desde então tornou-se a principal autoridade em luz e iluminação.
Os principais objetivos da CIE incluem facilitar discussões internacionais sobre questões relacionadas à luz e iluminação, desenvolver padrões e procedimentos para metrologia nesses campos, fornecer orientações sobre a aplicação de princípios e procedimentos para padrões internacionais e nacionais, e publicar relatórios e publicações sobre vários aspectos de luz e iluminação.

A CIE colabora com outras organizações internacionais envolvidas em ciência, tecnologia, padronização e arte nos campos de luz e iluminação. Também publica várias publicações que servem como recursos importantes para pesquisadores, profissionais e praticantes na indústria de iluminação.
