¿Qué es la bombilla de tipo T?
A bombilla tipo T es una bombilla que tiene forma tubular. La "T" de "tipo T" significa "tubular". Estas bombillas se suelen utilizar para iluminación halógena y se caracterizan por su forma tubular y su base de doble terminal, que suele constar de dos puntas. Sin embargo, también existen en el mercado bombillas de tipo T de un solo casquillo.

Las bombillas de tipo T vienen en varios tamaños, siendo los más comunes T3 y T4. Las bombillas T3 tienen una anchura de ⅜ pulgada, mientras que las bombillas T4 tienen una anchura de ½ pulgada. Además, también hay bombillas halógenas y LED T2, T5 y T6 disponibles, aunque estas pueden ser menos compatibles con los accesorios estándar.
Al sustituir una bombilla halógena de tipo T por una bombilla LED, es importante asegurarse de que no sólo el tipo sino también el tamaño de la bombilla sean correctos. También debe tenerse en cuenta la compatibilidad con la construcción de la base de la luminaria.
