O que é uma lâmpada tipo T
A lâmpada tipo T é uma lâmpada que tem uma forma tubular. O "T" em "tipo T" significa "tubular". Estas lâmpadas são normalmente utilizadas para iluminação de halogéneo e caracterizam-se pela sua forma tubular e pela sua base de dois casquilhos, que consiste normalmente em dois casquilhos. No entanto, também existem no mercado lâmpadas do tipo T de casquilho simples.

As lâmpadas do tipo T existem em vários tamanhos, sendo os mais comuns os T3 e T4. As lâmpadas T3 têm uma largura de ⅜ polegadas, enquanto as lâmpadas T4 têm uma largura de ½ polegada. Além disso, também estão disponíveis lâmpadas de halogéneo e LED T2, T5 e T6, embora estas possam ser menos compatíveis com as luminárias padrão.
