¿Qué es el semicorte?
Una luminaria semicorta es un tipo de luminaria que se utiliza habitualmente en aplicaciones de exterior, en particular como paquete mural montado en paredes o postes. A diferencia de accesorios de corte total que dirigen la luz únicamente hacia abajo, las luminarias semicortadas tienen un diseño que permite que parte de la luz escape por encima del plano horizontal. Esto significa que, aunque la mayor parte de la luz se dirige hacia abajo, una parte también se dirige hacia arriba, lo que puede contribuir a contaminación lumínica.
Las luminarias semicortadas suelen elegirse para zonas que requieren una cantidad moderada de iluminación descendente, pero que permiten al mismo tiempo cierta iluminación ascendente.
