Was ist eine Bajonettkappe?
Bajonettverschluss, auch BC genannt, ist eine Art von lampensockel. Er ist nach seinem Design benannt, das einem Bajonettverschluss ähnelt. Der Bajonettverschluss hat einen Durchmesser von 22 mm (B22d) und zeichnet sich durch einen Dreh- und Verriegelungsmechanismus aus. Dieser Mechanismus besteht aus zwei Stiften am Kolben, die sich zurückziehen und dann in Schlitze im Inneren des Fittings ausfahren, wenn sie verdreht werden, wodurch eine sichere Verbindung gewährleistet wird.
Die Bajonettkappe unterscheidet sich von der Edison-Schraubsockel (ES)-Fassung, bei der ein Schraubgewinde anstelle von Stiften verwendet wird. Es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass der Bajonettsockel der am häufigsten verwendete Lampensockel im Vereinigten Königreich ist. Darüber hinaus gibt es auch kleinere Größen, die als Small Bayonet Cap (SBC) bezeichnet werden und einen Durchmesser von 15 mm (B15d) haben.
