Che cos'è il tappo a baionetta
Il Bayonet Cap, conosciuto anche come BC, è un tipo di attacco della lampada. Il nome deriva dal suo design, che ricorda un attacco a baionetta. Il tappo a baionetta ha un diametro di 22 mm (B22d) ed è caratterizzato da un meccanismo di rotazione e blocco. Questo meccanismo prevede due perni sul bulbo che si ritraggono e poi si espandono nelle fessure all'interno del raccordo quando vengono ruotati, garantendo un collegamento sicuro.
Il Bayonet Cap si distingue dal Vite Edison (ES), che utilizza una filettatura a vite al posto dei perni. È importante notare che il Bayonet Cap è la base per lampadine più comunemente utilizzata nel Regno Unito. Inoltre, sono disponibili misure più piccole, note come Small Bayonet Cap (SBC), con un diametro di 15 mm (B15d).
