Işık Sensörü Nedir
A ışık sensörüfoto sensör veya fotoelektrik sensör olarak da bilinen, ışığın varlığını veya yokluğunu tespit eden ve ölçen bir cihazdır. Kızılötesinden ultraviyole spektrumuna kadar ışık enerjisini veya fotonları tipik olarak elektronlar şeklinde bir elektrik sinyaline dönüştüren bir fotoelektrik alettir. Işık sensörü, giriş ışık enerjisine karşılık gelen bir elektrik çıkış sinyali üretir.
Işık sensörleri, belirli malzemelerin ışığa maruz kaldığında elektron yaydığı fotoelektrik etki prensibine dayalı olarak çalışır. Işığı algılamak ve ölçmek için bu etkiyi kullanırlar. Işık sensörleri, ışığa maruz kaldığında bir elektrik akımı üreten fotodiyot veya fototransistör gibi ışığa duyarlı bir malzeme kullanır. Işığın yoğunluğu, üretilen akımın büyüklüğünü belirler.
