O que é o dispositivo Semi-cutoff
Um luminária de semi-corte é um tipo de luminária comumente usada em aplicações externas, particularmente como luminárias de parede montadas em paredes ou postes. Ao contrário de luminárias de corte completo que direcionam a luz exclusivamente para baixo, as luminárias de semi-corte possuem um design que permite que alguma luz escape acima do plano horizontal. Isso significa que, embora a maior parte da luz seja direcionada para baixo, uma porção dela também seja direcionada para cima, o que pode contribuir para poluição luminosa.
Luminárias de semi-corte são frequentemente escolhidas para áreas que requerem uma quantidade moderada de iluminação descendente, enquanto ainda permitem alguma iluminação ascendente. Elas equilibram entre fornecer iluminação suficiente para visibilidade e oferecer alguma iluminação estética ou ambiente. Elas não são tão eficazes na minimização da poluição luminosa ou na oferta de altos níveis de segurança em comparação com luminárias de corte completo.
