O que é a luz natural
A luz natural é uma fonte de iluminação que emula de perto a iluminação fornecida pela luz solar. Caracteriza-se por uma temperatura kelvin de aproximadamente 5.000 graus kelvin e um índice de restituição de cor (CRI) de 100. O temperatura kelvin da luz natural pode variar ao longo do dia, normalmente entre 5.000 e 6.000 kelvin, dependendo de factores como a hora do dia e a cobertura de nuvens. O CRI é uma métrica utilizada para descrever a precisão com que uma fonte de luz reproduz as cores em comparação com a luz solar natural. Para que uma fonte de iluminação seja classificada como luz natural, é geralmente considerado adequado ter um CRI superior a 90.
Algumas empresas podem ter as suas próprias interpretações do que constitui iluminação natural, mas é geralmente aceite que as lâmpadas com temperaturas de cor de 6.500 kelvin e um CRI de 82-84 não cumprem os critérios de iluminação natural. Da mesma forma, as lâmpadas com uma temperatura de cor de 4.100 kelvin e um CRI elevado não podem ser consideradas fontes de iluminação natural, uma vez que a cor da luz se desvia significativamente da luz solar e tem pouca semelhança com esta.
