컬러 시프팅이란?
컬러 시프팅은 광원에서 방출되는 빛의 색이 시간에 따라 변하거나 달라지는 현상입니다. 이러한 색상 변화는 주로 반도체 칩을 비롯한 조명 시스템의 다양한 구성 요소에서 발생하는 열화 메커니즘으로 인해 발생합니다, 형광체, 캡슐화 재료, 플라스틱 수지 및 렌즈에 사용됩니다.

이러한 성능 저하 메커니즘은 고온, 높은 구동 전류, 비효율적인 열 방출, 화학적 변화와 같은 요인으로 인해 가속화됩니다. 이러한 요인으로 인해 양자 효율이 저하될 수 있습니다. LED 칩 및 형광체 다운 컨버터를 사용하여 방출되는 색상의 변화를 초래합니다. 관련된 특정 열화 메커니즘에 따라 파란색, 노란색, 빨간색 또는 녹색 방향으로의 이동을 포함하여 다양한 유형의 색상 이동이 발생할 수 있습니다.
허용되는 컬러 시프트의 크기는 애플리케이션에 따라 다릅니다. 예를 들어 주거용 조명은 6,000시간 동안 최대 0.007 Δu'v의 색 변화를 허용할 수 있지만, 호텔, 쇼룸, 박물관 조명과 같이 훨씬 더 까다로운 애플리케이션에서는 5년 동안 최대 0.003 Δu'v의 색 변화가 요구되는 등 훨씬 더 높은 색도 안정성이 필요할 수 있습니다.
