Qu'est-ce qu'une lampe à culot ouvert (culot moyen) ?

Une lampe à culot ouvert (culot moyen) est une ampoule conçue pour être utilisée dans des luminaires ouverts où l'ampoule est exposée pendant l'utilisation. Elle possède un culot moyen (E26), qui est une douille standard pour de nombreux types d'ampoules. Le terme "ouvert" indique que la lampe est adaptée à une utilisation dans des luminaires qui n'enferment pas complètement l'ampoule. Ce type de lampe a généralement un col plus étroit que les lampes à culot moyen standard afin de s'adapter à une douille moyenne d'exclusion pour une utilisation dans des luminaires ouverts. Elle ne peut pas être utilisée dans des luminaires entièrement fermés.
