Wat is Open Rated Lamp (Medium Base)
Lamp met open fitting (medium basis) verwijst naar een gloeilamp die is ontworpen voor gebruik in open armaturen waar de gloeilamp wordt blootgesteld tijdens het gebruik. De lamp heeft een gemiddelde lampvoet (E26), wat een standaard fittingmaat is voor veel soorten gloeilampen. De term "open rated" geeft aan dat de lamp geschikt is voor gebruik in armaturen die de lamp niet volledig omsluiten. Dit type lamp heeft doorgaans een smallere hals dan standaard lampen met een gemiddelde lampvoet om in een uitsluitbare middelgrote fitting te passen voor gebruik in open armaturen. De lamp is niet geschikt voor gebruik in volledig gesloten armaturen.
