ケルビンとは
ケルビンは、光源の色温度を定量化するために使用される測定単位である。熱力学的温度のSI単位であり、記号Kで表記される。ケルビン・スケールは、熱力学的系が最低のエネルギーを持つ点である絶対零度を表す0ケルビンから始まる絶対スケールである。ケルビンは ケルビンスケール は華氏や摂氏の温度スケールとは異なり、度単位で表されず、負の値も持たない。
光源の色温度は、放射される光の色の見え方を表す特性である。ケルビン単位で測定され、光が暖かく見えるか冷たく見えるかを示す。2700Kから3000Kのような低い色温度は、温かみのある光や黄色がかった光に関連し、照明の色に似ている。 白熱電球.5000Kから6500Kのような高い色温度は、昼光や自然太陽光に似た、涼しい、または青みがかった光を連想させる。
