디지털 멀티플렉스(DMX)란?
디지털 멀티플렉스의 줄임말인 DMX는 조명 제어 프로토콜 조명 산업에서 널리 사용됩니다. 하나 이상의 채널을 사용하여 개별 또는 조명 그룹을 중앙에서 제어할 수 있는 통신 시스템 역할을 합니다. DMX 설정에는 컨트롤러가 연결된 모든 조명 설비를 통해 이동하는 데이터를 전송하는 데이지 체인 시퀀스가 포함됩니다.

DMX는 다양한 조명 기능을 정밀하게 제어할 수 있습니다. DMX 채널은 조명에 특정 작업을 수행하도록 지시합니다. 예를 들어, 각 색상의 RGB 조명 는 1개의 DMX 채널이 필요하지만, RGBW 조명은 4개의 채널이 필요합니다. 즉, 최대 512개의 채널을 제어할 수 있는 DMX 유니버스로 128개의 RGBW 조명을 완벽하게 제어할 수 있습니다.
DMX 시스템의 올바른 작동을 보장하기 위해 데이지 체인 끝에 터미네이터가 사용됩니다. 터미네이터는 신호가 반송되는 것을 막아 신호 왜곡을 방지합니다. 이는 DMX 신호의 무결성을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
