指向性照明とは
ディレクショナル・ライティングとは、被写体に対して意図的に光を配置し、方向付けることで、特定の方向に光を集中させたり、方向付けたりして、望ましい照明効果を得ることである。このテクニックは、写真や映画など、照明の正確なコントロールが不可欠な用途でよく使われる。
指向性照明のテクニックにはいくつかの種類がある。フロントライティングは、光源を被写体の正面に配置し、被写体を直接照らします。このテクニックでは、均一な照明が得られ、影が目立ちにくくなります。一方、サイドライティングは、光源を被写体の横に配置します。これにより、影とハイライトがより強調され、画像に奥行きと深みが加わります。バックライティングは、光源を被写体の背後からカメラに向けて配置します。被写体の周りにハロー効果を生み出し、被写体を背景から分離させることができる。
