調光（PWM制御）とは
調光 (PWM制御）とは、パルス幅変調（PWM）信号を用いて光源、特にLEDの明るさを調整する方法である。PWM調光は、電気信号をONとOFFの間で素早く切り替えることで、供給可能な平均電力を効果的に低減します。これは、信号のハイ（ON）状態とロー（OFF）状態の継続時間を調整することで達成される。
出力電力を変化させてLEDを調光するアナログ調光方式とは異なり、PWM調光は、任意の時点でLEDに全電圧を供給するか、電力を供給しないかのいずれかで動作する。例えば、連続的に12Vを供給する代わりに、PWM信号は特定の時間だけ10Vを供給し、低い輝度レベルを達成することができます。
