일반 조명 서비스(GLS)란?
일반 조명 서비스의 줄임말인 GLS는 100년 이상 사용되어 온 고전적인 배 모양의 디자인이 특징인 특정 유형의 전구를 가리킵니다. 전 세계적으로 가장 잘 알려져 있고 널리 사용되는 전구 모양 중 하나입니다.
원래 GLS 전구는 필라멘트가 보이는 백열전구였습니다. 하지만 기술이 발전하면서 더 새롭고 에너지 효율이 높은 옵션이 등장했습니다. 이에 따라 소비자는 에너지 소비가 많은 백열전구 대신 LED 또는 형광등과 같은 대체 전구로 교체할 수 있어 에너지를 크게 절약할 수 있습니다.

최신 GLS 전구는 내열성 열 플라스틱 또는 유리로 만들어지는 경우가 많으며 "진주" 또는 "오팔" 모양의 불투명 마감 처리가 되어 있는 경우가 많습니다. 일반적으로 B22 베이요넷 캡 또는 E27 에디슨 나사 베이스가 장착되어 있어 다양한 조명 기구와 호환됩니다.
