빛의 양이란?

광량이란 램프 또는 조명 시스템에서 방출되는 빛의 양을 측정하고 평가하는 것을 말합니다. 조명 시스템의 성능을 이해하고 예측하는 데 사용되는 지표입니다. 광량은 두 가지 주요 요인에 의해 결정됩니다: 광속 및 조도.

• 광속은 램프를 떠나는 빛의 양을 나타내며 루멘(lm) 단위로 측정됩니다. 램프가 안정화된 후 램프에서 생성되는 총 빛의 양을 나타냅니다. 램프는 일반적으로 램프가 안정화된 후의 광 출력을 나타내는 초기 루멘과 램프의 정격 수명 동안의 평균 광 출력을 나타내는 평균 루멘으로 등급이 매겨집니다.
• 반면 조도는 조명이 있는 공간의 작업 평면에서 측정된 빛의 양을 나타냅니다. 조도는 풋캔들(fc) 또는 럭스(미터법)로 측정됩니다. 풋캔들은 평방 피트당 빛의 밀도를 나타내며 럭스는 평방 미터당 빛의 밀도를 나타냅니다. 조도는 조도계를 사용하여 계산하거나 측정할 수 있습니다. 초기 풋캔들은 새 램프를 설치한 후의 조도를 나타내며, 유지 풋캔들은 시간 경과에 따른 빛 손실과 같은 요인을 고려합니다.
