ベーリング輝度とは、障害グレアとも呼ばれ、以下のような原因で視認性が低下することである。 散光.迷光とは、眼球内で跳ね返る迷光のために、眼球が感じる明るさやまぶしさのことである。この迷光は コントラストと視認性 物体やシーンの細部が見えにくくなる。
