Cos'è il chilowatt (Kw)
Il chilowatt (kW) è un'unità di misura utilizzata per quantificare il tasso di consumo di energia elettrica da parte di apparecchi o dispositivi di illuminazione. Rappresenta 1000 watt di potenza. Ad esempio, se si accendono dieci lampadine da 100W, il consumo totale di energia sarà di 1kW. Ciò indica che ogni lampadina consuma 100W di energia e, se moltiplicata per il numero di lampadine, si calcola il consumo totale di energia.
Inoltre, il termine "kW" è anche sinonimo di "domanda" quando si comunica con una società di servizi. Si riferisce alla quantità di energia richiesta dai dispositivi elettrici in un momento specifico. Per esempio, se si accendono contemporaneamente dieci lampadine e un'asciugatrice da 3.000 watt, la richiesta totale o la potenza necessaria è di 4 kW.
