Acesta este exprimat ca un raport, reprezent\u00e2nd cantitatea de lumin\u0103 care ajunge \u00een zona dorit\u0103 \u00een compara\u021bie cu lumina total\u0103 emis\u0103 de l\u0103mpile din cadrul corpului de iluminat. Pentru a calcula coeficientul de utilizare, se iau \u00een considerare diver\u0219i factori.
