Na ind\u00fastria de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o, \u201cProte\u00e7\u00e3o de Entrada\u201d (IP) refere-se a um sistema de classifica\u00e7\u00e3o que indica o n\u00edvel de prote\u00e7\u00e3o fornecido por um dispositivo de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o contra objetos s\u00f3lidos e \u00e1gua. A classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP consiste em dois d\u00edgitos, cada um representando um aspecto espec\u00edfico da prote\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

O primeiro d\u00edgito na classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP representa o n\u00edvel de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra objetos s\u00f3lidos, como poeira, sujeira ou outros corpos estranhos. Vai de 0 a 6, sendo que n\u00fameros maiores indicam um n\u00edvel maior de prote\u00e7\u00e3o. Por exemplo, uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP de 0 significa nenhuma prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra objetos s\u00f3lidos, enquanto uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP de 6 significa prote\u00e7\u00e3o completa contra poeira.<\/p>

O segundo d\u00edgito na classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP representa o n\u00edvel de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra \u00e1gua. Vai de 0 a 9, sendo que n\u00fameros maiores indicam um n\u00edvel maior de prote\u00e7\u00e3o. Por exemplo, uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP de 0 significa nenhuma prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra \u00e1gua, enquanto uma classifica\u00e7\u00e3o IP de 9 significa prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra jatos de \u00e1gua de alta press\u00e3o.<\/p>

Essas classifica\u00e7\u00f5es IP s\u00e3o cruciais para determinar a adequa\u00e7\u00e3o de um dispositivo de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o para diferentes ambientes. Para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es externas, onde se espera exposi\u00e7\u00e3o a condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas adversas, recomenda-se dispositivos com classifica\u00e7\u00f5es IP mais altas, como IP44 a IP68. Em \u00e1reas \u00famidas, como banheiros ou jardins, classifica\u00e7\u00f5es IP54 a IP65 s\u00e3o adequadas, dependendo da posi\u00e7\u00e3o das luzes.<\/p>

Para determinar a Prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra Entrada de um produto de ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o, realiza-se o teste IP.
