Er zijn twee soorten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/nl\/blog\/alles-over-bezettings-en-leegstandssensoren\">aanwezigheidsensoren<\/a>Bezettingssensoren zijn een soort automatische in- en uitschakelsensoren, terwijl leegstandssensoren handmatige in- en uitschakelsensoren zijn, soms ook wel handmatige bezettingssensoren genoemd. Elke technologie heeft zijn voor- en nadelen wat betreft de nauwkeurigheid en effici\u00ebntie bij het detecteren van een beweging. De PIR-technologie wordt het meest gebruikt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/nl\/blog\/bewegingssensor-gids\">bewegingsdetectiestrategie<\/a> Bij alle bewegingsgeactiveerde producten zoals bezettingssensoren, bewegingssensorschakelaars, buitenbeveiligingslampen, wordt de dual-tech strategie ook gebruikt bij sommige van de high-end bezettingssensoren en wandschakelaars.<\/p><p>Bezettings- en leegstandssensoren zijn er in vele vormen. Het kan een muurschakelaar zijn die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/nl\/blog\/hoe-een-lichtschakelaar-met-bewegingssensor-installeren\">past in een gewone inbouwdoos<\/a> met een ingebouwde bewegingssensor, of ze kunnen een op zichzelf staande bewegingsmelder zijn die hoog aan de muur of het plafond wordt gemonteerd en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/nl\/blog\/een-bewegingssensor-aansluiten-op-een-bestaande-lamp\">aangesloten op een bestaand licht<\/a>. De installatie en plaatsing van op bezettingssensoren gebaseerde verlichtingsregelaars moet zorgvuldig worden gepland voor de installatie voor het beste resultaat. Er moet rekening worden gehouden met de lay-out, de toepassing en de gebruiksfrequentie van een ruimte.<\/p><p>Omdat energiecodes zoals IECC, ASHRAE en Title 24 allemaal een op bezettingsprincipes gebaseerde strategie voor verlichtingsregeling vereisen in residenti\u00eble en commerci\u00eble gebouwen, moeten lezers zorgvuldig de juiste bezettingssensoren en leegstandsensoren kiezen om aan deze codes te voldoen.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-energy-code\">Wat is een energiecode?<\/h2><p>Energiecodes zijn een onderdeel van een bredere verzameling bouwcodes, die het ontwerp en de bouw van residenti\u00eble en commerci\u00eble gebouwen regelen, met als doel de energie-effici\u00ebntie te verbeteren om de hoeveelheid benodigde energie en de effecten van vervuiling te verminderen.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Een bouwvoorschrift (ook wel bouwcontrole of bouwvoorschriften) is een verzameling regels die de normen specificeren voor gebouwde objecten zoals gebouwen en niet-gebouwgebonden constructies. Gebouwen moeten aan de code voldoen om een bouwvergunning te krijgen, meestal van een gemeente.<\/p><p>Energiecodes zoals IECC (The International Energy Conservation Code) en ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) hebben allemaal nauwkeurige vereisten voor controlesystemen met gebruikssensoren in commerci\u00eble en residenti\u00eble gebouwen.<\/p><p>In dit artikel zullen we het voornamelijk hebben over de IECC-code.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-iecc\">Wat is IECC<\/h2><p>De International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) is een bouwcode die in 2000 is opgesteld door de International Code Council. Het is een modelcode die door veel staten en gemeentelijke overheden in de Verenigde Staten is aangenomen voor het vaststellen van minimale ontwerp- en constructie-eisen voor energie-effici\u00ebntie.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/rayzeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/iecc-pic-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/iecc-pic-1.png 500w, https:\/\/www.rayzeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/iecc-pic-1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure><\/div><p>De IECC wordt elke drie jaar bijgewerkt, met als laatste de editie van 2021. De IECC verwijst naar ASHRAE\/IES 90.1 als alternatieve standaard, zodat ontwerpers van gebouwen meer keuzes hebben in hun ontwerpwerkzaamheden.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"iecc-2011-for-occupancy-sensors\">IECC 2011 voor bewegingssensoren<\/h2><p>Op 28 juli 2021 heeft het DOE (Department of Energy) vastgesteld dat de 2021 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) de energie-effici\u00ebntie in woongebouwen zal verbeteren. Ter ondersteuning van dit besluit heeft het DOE een technische analyse uitgevoerd waarin de effecten van de bijgewerkte code (ten opzichte van de 2018 IECC-editie) worden ge\u00ebvalueerd. DOE schat de nationale besparingen op ongeveer:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>9,38 procent energiebesparing op locatie<\/li>\n\n<li>8,79 procent bronenergiebesparing<\/li>\n\n<li>8,66 procent besparing op energiekosten<\/li>\n\n<li>8,66 procent koolstofuitstoot<\/li><\/ul><p>Laten we eens kijken naar wat IECC 2011 vereist voor bezettingssensoren.<\/p><div Hierin wordt gedefinieerd waar de bezettingssensoren nodig zijn en welk patroon ze moeten volgen.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-where-are-occupancy-sensors-required\">Waar zijn aanwezigheidssensoren vereist?<\/h3><p>In de volgende ruimtetypes moeten sensoren voor gebruikers worden ge\u00efnstalleerd om de verlichting te regelen:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Klaslokalen\/lezingen\/trainingsruimten.<\/li>\n\n<li>Conferentie-\/vergader-\/ multifunctionele zalen.<\/li>\n\n<li>Kopieer-\/printruimtes.<\/li>\n\n<li>Lounges\/pauzeruimtes.<\/li>\n\n<li>Gesloten kantoren.<\/li>\n\n<li>Open kantoorruimtes.<\/li>\n\n<li>Toiletten.<\/li>\n\n<li>Opslagruimtes.<\/li>\n\n<li>Kleedkamers.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Gangen (toegevoegd vanaf 2018).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li>Opslagruimtes in magazijnen.<\/li>\n\n<li>Andere ruimten van 28 m2 of minder die zijn ingesloten door scheidingswanden van vloer tot plafondhoogte.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><p>Uitzondering: Armaturen die specifieke toepassingscontroles moeten hebben volgens artikel C405.2.5.<\/p><p><strong>Wat we leren<\/strong><\/p><p>We kunnen zien dat IECC 2021 vereist dat er op bijna alle plaatsen in een gebouw sensoren voor de gebruikers worden ge\u00efnstalleerd. Deze plaatsen zijn meestal openbare ruimtes waar veel willekeurige mensen komen en gaan. Met controlesystemen met aanwezigheidssensoren, vooral de automatische in- en uitschakelsensoren, hoeven en zouden mensen zich geen zorgen hoeven te maken over het in- of uitschakelen van het licht.<\/p><p>Voor toiletten of kleedkamers zijn bezettingssensoren zonder twijfel de optimale optie omdat de volledig automatische verlichtingsregeling de beste ervaring geeft zonder dat gebruikers zich ergens zorgen over hoeven te maken. Voor plaatsen zoals klaslokalen, vergaderzalen en gesloten kantoren, waar het meer priv\u00e9 is en meer een afgesloten ruimte, worden normaal gesproken handmatige aanwezigheidssensoren gebruikt om gebruikers directe handmatige controle te geven en te beslissen of het licht wordt in- of uitgeschakeld op basis van hun vraag.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-occupant-sensor-control-function\">Functie Bewonerssensor<\/h3><p>Bewoningssensoren in magazijnen moeten voldoen aan artikel C40521.2. Bewoningssensoren in kantoortuinen moeten voldoen aan artikel C405.2.1.3.<strong>&nbsp;Bewonerssensoren in gangen moeten voldoen aan artikel C405.2.1.4 (toegevoegd vanaf 2018).<\/strong>&nbsp;Bewoningssensoren voor alle andere ruimten als bedoeld in artikel C405.2.1 moeten aan de volgende eisen voldoen:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ze moeten automatisch de verlichting uitschakelen binnen 20 minuten nadat alle gebruikers de ruimte hebben verlaten.<\/li>\n\n<li>Ze moeten handmatig worden ingeschakeld of zo worden geregeld dat de verlichting automatisch wordt ingeschakeld tot niet meer dan 50 procent van het vermogen.<\/li>\n\n<li>Ze moeten voorzien zijn van een handbediening waarmee bewoners de verlichting kunnen uitschakelen.<\/li><\/ul><p>Uitzondering: Volledig automatische bediening zonder handbediening is toegestaan in&nbsp;<strong>condors, binnenparkeerplaatsen, trappen, toiletten, kleedkamers, lobby's, bibliotheekstapels en -ruimten(bijgewerkt vanaf 2018)&nbsp;<\/strong>waar handmatige bediening de veiligheid van de inzittenden in gevaar brengt.<\/p><div class=\"insert_portfolio_outer_wrapper\"><h3>Laat u inspireren door Rayzeek Motion Sensor Portfolio's.<\/h3><p>Vind je niet wat je zoekt? Als je een plafondbezettingssensor wilt gebruiken in combinatie met een lichtdimmer, kan het instellen lastig zijn.<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-c405-2-1-2-occupant-sensor-control-function-in-warehouse-storage-areas\">C405.2.1.2 Bewonerssensorbesturingsfunctie in magazijnruimten<\/h4><p>Verlichting in opslagruimten van magazijnen moet als volgt worden geregeld:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Verlichting in elke gang moet onafhankelijk van de verlichting in alle andere gangpaden en open ruimten worden geregeld.<\/li>\n\n<li>Bewonerssensoren moeten het verlichtingsvermogen binnen elke gecontroleerde ruimte automatisch verlagen tot een instelpunt voor onbezette ruimten van niet meer dan 50 procent van het volledige vermogen binnen 20 minuten nadat alle bewoners de gecontroleerde ruimte hebben verlaten.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Verlichting die niet wordt uitgeschakeld door sensoren voor gebruikers, moet worden uitgeschakeld met een tijdschakelaar die voldoet aan artikel C405.2.2.1 (bijgewerkt vanaf 2018).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Er moet een handbediening zijn waarmee bewoners de verlichting in de ruimte kunnen uitschakelen (bijgewerkt vanaf 2018).<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-c405-2-1-3-occupant-sensor-control-function-in-open-plan-office-areas\">C405.2.1.3 Bewonerssensor-controlefunctie in kantoortuinen<\/h4><p>Sensorbediening voor de bewoner in kantoortuinen met een oppervlakte van minder dan 28 m2 moet voldoen aan artikel C405.2.1.1. Bewoningssensoren in alle andere kantoortuinen moeten aan alle onderstaande eisen voldoen:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>De bediening moet zo worden geconfigureerd dat de algemene verlichting afzonderlijk kan worden geregeld in regelzones met een vloeroppervlak van niet meer dan 55 m2 binnen de open kantoorruimte.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>De algemene verlichting in elke regelzone moet automatisch aangaan als er iemand in de regelzone aanwezig is. Algemene verlichting in andere niet-bezette zones binnen de open kantoorruimte mag aangaan tot niet meer dan 20 procent van het volledige vermogen of mag niet worden be\u00efnvloed (bijgewerkt vanaf 2018).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li>De regelaars moeten de algemene verlichting in alle regelzones automatisch uitschakelen binnen 20 minuten nadat alle gebruikers de open kantoorruimte hebben verlaten.
