Wat is nanometer (nm)<\/h2>

Een nanometer (nm) is een lengte-eenheid in het metrisch stelsel, gelijk aan een miljardste meter. Het wordt vaak gebruikt om afmetingen op atomaire schaal te meten en om de golflengte van elektromagnetische straling te specificeren, vooral in het zichtbare deel van het spectrum. In de verlichtingsindustrie spelen nanometers een rol bij het bepalen van de specifieke golflengtes van licht die door een lichtbron worden uitgezonden en die verschillende effecten kunnen hebben op de groei en ontwikkeling van planten.<\/p>

Tuinbouwers kunnen het juiste verlichtingssysteem voor hun planten kiezen. Verschillende golflengten van licht binnen het nanometerbereik hebben een verschillende invloed op de fotosynthese en andere fysiologische processen in planten.
