Door het tijdsverloop tussen uitzending en ontvangst te berekenen, kan de sensor de afstand tot het object bepalen.<\/p><p>Ultrasone sensoren staan bekend om hun betrouwbaarheid in verschillende verlichtingsomgevingen, omdat ze niet worden be\u00efnvloed door factoren zoals licht, rook, stof, kleur of materiaaleigenschappen, met uitzondering van zeer zachte materialen die geluid kunnen absorberen. Hierdoor zijn ze geschikt voor contactloze detectie van doelen met verschillende oppervlakte-eigenschappen.<\/p><p>In de verlichtingsindustrie vinden ultrasone sensoren toepassingen in het vermijden van botsingen, aanwezigheidsdetectie, niveaumeting, positiedetectie en afstandsmeting. Ze zijn bijzonder effectief voor het detecteren van heldere en transparante objecten, waardoor ze nuttig zijn in scenario's waar optische technologie\u00ebn tekortschieten.
