Schemer- tot dageraadverlichting wordt meestal buiten gebruikt en is ontworpen om alleen aan te gaan als de omgeving donker is, vandaar de naam \"schemer- tot dageraadverlichting\". Ze verhogen de energie-effici\u00ebntie door te voorkomen dat de verlichting onnodig blijft branden terwijl er overdag genoeg natuurlijk licht is.<\/p>
Schemerlicht wordt ook binnenshuis massaal gebruikt. De ingebouwde fotocel kan automatisch het omgevingslicht in je kantoor detecteren om de verlichting te regelen.
