Il s'agit d'une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 optique fondamentale qui quantifie la capacit\u00e9 d'un mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 transmettre la lumi\u00e8re. <\/p><p>Lorsque la lumi\u00e8re interagit avec une surface ou un mat\u00e9riau, elle peut \u00eatre transmise, r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie ou absorb\u00e9e. La transmittance se concentre sp\u00e9cifiquement sur la partie de la lumi\u00e8re qui passe de l'autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la surface. Elle est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e au concept de r\u00e9flectance, qui mesure la quantit\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie par une surface.<\/p><p>La transmittance est exprim\u00e9e sous la forme d'un rapport entre l'intensit\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re transmise (I) et l'intensit\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re incidente (I0). Ce rapport est not\u00e9 T.
