Por ejemplo, una luminaria de \u00e1ngulo de corte total bloquea completamente la emisi\u00f3n de luz por encima del plano horizontal, minimizando la contaminaci\u00f3n lum\u00ednica y reduciendo el deslumbramiento. Por otro lado, una luminaria de \u00e1ngulo de corte medio permite que se emita una peque\u00f1a cantidad de luz por encima del plano horizontal, logrando un equilibrio entre el control de la dispersi\u00f3n de la luz y la distribuci\u00f3n de la luz hacia arriba.
