Diese Ionen werden in die Wirtssubstanz eingebaut, um die gew\u00fcnschten Lumineszenzeigenschaften zu erzeugen.<\/p><p>Die Dotierungskonzentration der Aktivatorsubstanz wird sorgf\u00e4ltig optimiert, um ein Gleichgewicht zwischen effizienter Anregung des Leuchtstoffs und minimaler Reabsorption des eingestrahlten Lichts zu erreichen. Ziel ist es, eine ausreichend kleine Absorptionsl\u00e4nge f\u00fcr das Anregungslicht zu erhalten und gleichzeitig eine \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfige Ausl\u00f6schung durch Energie\u00fcbertragungsprozesse zu vermeiden.<\/p><p>Leuchtstoffe werden h\u00e4ufig in Form von feinen Pulvern mit kontrollierter Partikelgr\u00f6\u00dfe geliefert. Diese Pulver k\u00f6nnen als d\u00fcnne Schichten aufgetragen werden, damit der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Teil des Lumineszenzlichts entweichen und genutzt werden kann. Eine bestimmte Dicke ist jedoch erforderlich, um eine ausreichende Absorption des Anregungslichts oder der Elektronen zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p><p>Die in LEDs und Laserdioden verwendeten Halbleiter zeigen zwar auch Lumineszenz, werden aber im Allgemeinen nicht als Leuchtstoffe bezeichnet.
