LEDs sind f\u00fcr ihre F\u00e4higkeit bekannt, Licht in bestimmten Wellenl\u00e4ngen zu emittieren, die kontrolliert und manipuliert werden k\u00f6nnen, um verschiedene Farben und Schattierungen von Licht zu erzeugen. Dieser Wellenl\u00e4ngenbereich bestimmt die Farbtemperatur und die Farbwiedergabeeigenschaften von LED-Beleuchtungsk\u00f6rpern. LED-Leuchten k\u00f6nnen Licht in einem breiten Farbspektrum ausstrahlen, das von k\u00fchleren Blau- und Wei\u00dft\u00f6nen bis hin zu w\u00e4rmeren Farbt\u00f6nen reicht. Pflanzen nutzen Licht im Bereich der photosynthetisch aktiven Strahlung (PAR), der von etwa 400 nm bis 700 nm reicht. Dieser Bereich gilt als optimal f\u00fcr die Fotosynthese. F\u00fcr den Gartenbau konzipierte LED-Leuchten strahlen h\u00e4ufig Licht in bestimmten Wellenl\u00e4ngen innerhalb des PAR-Bereichs aus, z.
