Det er en grundl\u00e6ggende optisk egenskab, der kvantificerer et materiales evne til at transmittere lys. <\/p><p>N\u00e5r lys interagerer med en overflade eller et materiale, kan det transmitteres, reflekteres eller absorberes. Transmittans fokuserer specifikt p\u00e5 den del af lyset, der bev\u00e6ger sig gennem den anden side af overfladen.
